Founded in Mumbai in 2012, Barira Fashion combines traditional Indian craftsmanship with advanced
manufacturing and material development. From embroidery and embellishment to laser-cut components,
acrylic, resin, enamel, sequins and custom surfaces, we develop and manufacture unique materials in

Driven by a desire to create unique and unconventional materials, Mohd Naushad Alam built an in-house manufacturing facility where Barira Fashion can experiment, develop and produce customised materials for fashion and couture.
